Who would ever wonder that a yankee teacher happened to raised heroes? Yamaguchi Kumiko a.k.a. Yankumi, of the hit drama series GOKUSEN, a teacher to came from a Yakuza family always handle classes with delinquent students ever since she started to teach. She was very known to these schools: Shirokin, Kurogin and Akadou Gakuen.
As a teacher, Yankumi always give her best in order to teach and guide her students to be better people of the society without the knowledge that some of them had been and will be heroes. How come? Tokusatsu actors were spotted from her classes but not all of them can easily be noticed. It is as if they were hidden characters from a certain video game that you have to find.
Actually, there is only one student from her class in Season 1 happened to be the most noticeable who became a great hero, and that is Minami Yoichi, played by Ishigaki Yuma. He was recently known as Juumonji Geki a.k.a. Uchuu Keiji Gavan.
Now, let's name the others in the list. When she was in Shirokin Gakuen, the Class 3D heroes are Takeda Sho, portrayed by Tomita Sho as the charismatic chiropractor Sanjyo Yukito/AbareBlue (Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger); Sengoku Ryuji, played by Sainei Ryuji whom we know as the hot-blooded Akaza Banban/DekaRed (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger); Horibe Ryoji, starred by Morimoto Ryoji known as the Undead Aikawa Hajime/Kamen Rider Chalice (Kamen Rider Blade); Shimazu Eiki, portrayed by Kitamura Eiki who became the loyal Haguro Ren/Kamen Rider Knight (Kamen Rider Decade); and Mori Kenichi, played by Matsuyama Kenichi who happened to be Kato Masaru (GANTZ).
Moving on to the next Season, she handles the Class 3D of Kurogin Gakuen wherein she came across the paths of Misawa Hiro, the ever gorgeous Mizushima Hiro following his grandmother's words as Tendou Souji/Kamen Rider Kabuto; Kojima Yuki, the ally to Kabuto Sato Yuki as Kagami Arata/Kamen Rider Gatack; Kawata Yuichi, the great Nakamura Yuichi who traveled through time as Sakurai Yuuto/Kamen Rider Zeronos (Kamen Rider Den-O); and there's also Muto Ryosuke, the cute Miura Ryosuke as the snob Greeed named Ankh (Kamen Rider OOO).
Continuing the list for the third Season, she stumbled upon the students of Akadou Gakuin where she met Takahashi Kimito, the cool Totani Kimito whom we know as an annoying wandering thief Kaitou Daiki/Kamen Rider DiEnd (Kamen Rider Decade); Terauchi Kyousuke, the good-looking Hamao Kyousuke who became the Gosei Tenshi Agri/GoseiBlack (Tensou Sentai Goseiger); and one unnamed student from Class 2D, the easy-going Shiraishi Shunya later known as Souma Haruto/Kamen Rider Wizard.
Though Yankumi raised twelve heroes, she also happened to cross path with two students who came from and to other side and both from Akadou Gakuin. One of them is Honjo Kengo, played by Ishiguro Hideo paying for his evil deeds as Kai (Kamen Rider Den-O). The other one is Ishibashi Atsumi, starred by Kanno Atsumi whom now takes off hope in people's hearts as the Phantom Phoenix (Kamen Rider Wizard).
Despite the fact that heroes and villains came across the life of Kumiko Yamaguchi she is indeed a great teacher who taught us to do what we can and continue on living with lifted heads as we go on with life.
There are still others from the each class who also came out in Tokusatsu shows but what we have listed here are those who have main roles in the respective Toku shows mentioned above.
