It is with sad news that legendary Japanese actor Kenji Ohba, who is known to be the father of the Metal Hero franchise, Space Sheriff Gavan, has passed away yesterday at the age of 72.
Rumors are spreading that Toei announced yesterday that the Metal Hero franchise will finally make its return and will replace the Super Sentai series after No.1 Sentai Gozyuger makes it final run next year.
Jouchaku! The official Toei Tokusatsu World youtube channel has posted the Space Sheriff Gavan movie to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Metal Hero franchise and also to thank the 400K subscribers!
The burning soul of the Metal Hero franchise keeps on blazing as it was announced that Discotek will be releasing the Space Sheriff Gavan Blu-ray for North American fans to see!
It's been 10 years since his legendary return and passed the torch to a new worthy warrior to don the iconic combat suit. And now, Toei Tokusatsu World is planning something big to celebrate Space Sheriff Gavan's 40th anniversary!
