I just posted about his latest single, but Kato Kazuki is NOT stopping with that.He is now set to star in Titanic the Musical in March 2015. The original stage play is written by Peter Stone. Music and Lyrics by Maury Yeston and is directed by Tom Sutherland. Kazuki will be playing Thomas Andrews Titanic's designer.

A lot of Toku actors have gathered to once again bring the Stage Musical of Samurai 7 in January 2015. Leading its Tetsuya Bessho of Ultraman fame. Samurai 7 is a sci-fi remake of the famous Akira Kurosawa film Seven Samurai.

Minekura Kauya's Journey to the West-inspired manga series Saiyuki will be having an all-new musical stage play adaptation entitled "Saiyuki Kageki-den -God Child-" this coming May 2nd-7th and will open in Shinjuku on its Golden Week holiday. Added to that, photos of its main cast in their costumes has been posted in their official Twitter page.

It was in 2009 when Saiyuki was last adapted into a stage play. Currently, Saiyuki Reload Blast is under serialization in Ichijinsha's Zero Ward but due to Minekura's health issues, it goes on hiatus.

Musical Prince of Tennis is truly a remarkable starting point for Tokusatsu actors. Every year, we are waiting for new toku shows and cast and most of the time, TeniMyu actors get starring roles as heroes or villains.
Previously, we had listed the Prince of Tennis Musicals actors who had taken part in Tokusatsu. The last show that was included in the list was Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters where Baba Ryoma and Jinnai Sho has taken part as Iwasaki Ryuuji/Blue Buster and Enter. And as the middle of 2013 started, three more TeniMyu actors were added to the list then another two for an upcoming show. They are as follows...

So far, all actors who took the role of Atobe Keigo has landed on Tokusatsu. Starting from Kato Kazuki as Kazama Daisuke/Drake (Kabuto)& Shiro Kazari/V3 (The Next) and Inoue Masahiro as Kadoya Tsukasa/Kamen Rider Decade (DCD) to Kubota and Aoki on their respective roles in Kamen Rider Gaim.
And then again, with this, we could conclude that because of the help of tokusatsu, not only TeniMyu but also other musical plays, adapted or not, started to shout their names around the world.
Thanks to most popular form of entertainment in Japan, the theater, that there are more aspiring and amazing actors sprouted in the industry!

JEFusion presents to you "WEDNESDAY STAGE," our Wednesday weekly entry with stage clips of different J-Artists! This week, we have Super Musical Saint Seiya.
Super Musical Saint Seiya, the 2011 musical adaptation of the 1987 manga and anime series Saint Seiya by Kurumada Masami, was based on the anime's first movie, Saint Seiya: Evil Goddess Eris. Until now, I have no knowledge of the song title but this is the main theme of the Bronze Saints...
The Bronze Saints are: Kamakari Kenta (TeniMyu, AirMyu) as Pegasus Seiya, Uenobori Makoto (TeniMyu) as Dragon Shiryu, Abe Naoki as Cygnus Hyoga, Shinotani Hijiri (TeniMyu) as Andromeda Shun and Hirose Yusuke (TeniMyu) as Phoenix Ikki
The 10th Niconico musical, Senbonzakura (1,000 Cherry Blossom Trees),will be starring two of the members of idol group AKB48. The musical is adapting the popular Hatsune Miku song and music video.
AKB48's Haruka Ishida (AKB0048) will play as Hatsune Miku, meanwhile, Miori Ichikawa plays as Kagamine Rin. Additional cast includes actor Yuki Torigoe as Kagamine Len, and gravure idol and singer Maho Tomita as Megurine Luka.
Moreover, actress Ai Hasegawa plays as Akane Meiko, and actor and singer Kazuki Katou (Kamen Rider Kabuto, THE NEXT) taking the main role as Seine Kaito.
Directed by Isamu Kayano (Macross The Musiculture), with scripts by Hideki Mitsui (Akazukin Cha Cha), and co-produced by Kurousa-P, Senbonzakura will play at Tokyo's Ginza Hakuhinkan Theater from March 13-24.
