New Dragon Ball Game For The Playstation 4


As seen in the July issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine, Bandai Namco Games has announced that they are making a new Dragon Ball game for the Playstation 4.
Microsoft Offers Xbox One Without Kinect

It has been confirmed by Microsoft that on June 9th, they will be starting to offer Xbox One which doesn't have the Kinect peripheral, their newest game console, It would be available "in all markets where Xbox One is sold" for US$399 making its price lower down to the level as Sony PlayStation 4, its main competitor.

According to Microsoft, they would be offering "popular entertainment apps" to all owners of Xbox 360 and Xbos One including those who doesn't have active XBox Live Gold membership. Also, free games and discounts would be given to a Gold membership on both consoles starting June.

Last November 21st, Xbox One was launched with bundled Kinect for US$499 and will be released in Japan on September 4th with 48 game makers have registered offering titles for it. In fact, Microsoft has shipped five million Xbox One consoles around the world.

3rd Behind the Scenes Footage of Lightning Returns

The third behind-the-scenes footage of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3 game has begun streaming last Tuesday through the Square Enix North America. Ali Hillis, Lightning's English voice actress narrates the video featuring English-subtitled interviews with some of the game's staff. The first behind-the-scenes footage was posted in August then the second in December.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is slated to be released on November 21st in Japan for 7770 yen, in North America on February 11th, 2014, and Europe on February 14th, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. In line with that, its release in both US and Europe also features the original Japanese audio track and free DLC for the first two weeks after the game ships.

The English release will include an 80-page hardcover Collector's Edition artbook, a silver embossed pocket watch, and a DLC code for an Aerith's "Midgar Flower Vendor" costume for Lightning. Moreover, those who pre-orders the game in North America and Europe would be able to unlock and use Cloud's "Soldier 1st" costume and buster sword as Lightning's epuipment. But it doesn't end there! Lightning can also use various costumes such Yuna's "Sphere Hunter" from Final Fantasy X and different samurai ones, in addition to that, there's also Miqo'te's rom Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with shields and motifs from the game's three city-states: Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'dah.

Namco Bandai Games Europe had released the Jump Festa trailer for the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. The trailer features Saiyan God Goku, multiplayer modes, and various boss battles. Experience what makes DBZ awesome!


Additionally, a limited edition "Goku Edition" will be released which includes a 25-centimeter Super Saiyan Goku figure designed by Hiroyuki Nakazawa, a 60-page artbook, and the download code for Goku's "Naruto Sage Mode" costume


The game features over 60 missions, and at least 70 playable characters spanning all over the Dragon Ball Z saga! You can have up to four players that can play cooperatively, or eight players who can engage in a massive battle royale online, and will also feature attacks such as "Meteor Chain" (successive attacks), "Synchro Rush" (simultaneous attack), and "Revive Soul" (reviving a fallen teammate).

"Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z" Gameplay Demo

Namco Bandai Games had released two gameplay demo videos for the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z centering around the "Story Mode" and "Multiplayer Mode". The free demo is now available via the PLAYSTATION Network and on XBox Live.


The demo includes four single player missions (01-04) with four characters comprising of Goku, Kid Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo. Multiplayer mode will have Mission 04 "The Fearsome Saiyan!" in both Co-op Mode, Battle Mode. It also have the ability to play with other demo users.

Additionally, by playing the demo, players will be able to transfer some of their data to the full game after its release including the DP (Dragon Points) and PP (Premium Points) obtained, Mission progress, Characters,, all obtained cards, and all player log data.

Square Enix had released a new English promotional video for the final installment of the main Final Fantasy XIII game, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII”. It features a comprehensive guide and introduction on the game's world and new gameplay.


Also a new Japanese trailer showcasing the second set of DLC costumes and weapons had been released. This includes Cloud's "Soldier 1st," Aerith's "Midgar Flower Vendor," and Yuna's "Sphere Hunter" outfits, available for 400 yen each or 1000 yen for the set.

The latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine announces that Broly, Cooler, Cooler (final form), and Metal Cooler will be included in the roster for the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. More characters are expected to be announced in a later date.

Namco Bandai Games Europe started streaming a "Battle of Gods" promo for the new Dragon Ball Z fighting game, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, showcasing the battle between Super Saiyan God Goku against the God of Destruction Bils.


The promo also features the agme's limited edition, which includes an art book, a Super Saiyan Goku figurine, and the Naruto Uzumaki Sage Mode DLC costume for Goku.

"Strider" New York Comic-Con 2013 Trailer

Capcom had released the New York Comic-Con trailer for the upcoming Strider video game. It has also been announced that the game will be available in most gaming platforms for $14.99!


Strider follows the story of Hiryu, an elite-class member of a group of futuristic, high-tech ninja-like agents known as the "Striders" who specialize in various kinds of wetworks such as espionage, sabotage, and assassinations.

Strider will be available on Xbox 360/One, PlayStation 3/4 and Steam.
